A Weekend With The Crew | Spending Time In NorCal
Our collaboration with Bell Helmets is much deeper than simply creating bad ass helmets. Like us, nearly everyone at Bell enjoys swinging a leg over a bike, twisting the throttle, and having a good time on the weekends.
Recently, we loaded up the Fasthouse Sprinter vans and pinned it north to Bell’s hood for a weekend of fun at Hollister Hills Park. Complete with a picturesque motocross track, Hollister also has an extensive network of epic single-track trails, making it a perfect weekend escape from Southern California. “We spent three days with a bunch of buddies and had a blast,” said Fasthouse’s Kenny Alexander. “It was freezing cold, we rode dirt bikes, and we drank a lot of beer.” Along for one of the group trail rides—and as the unofficial guide—off-road Endurocross star, and NorCal local, Cody Webb took everyone on some amazing trails, and showed everyone that hopping over even the biggest rock isn't impossible on a dirt bike. “Cody took us on some killer single track,” Kenny continued. “He knows the place like the back of his hand.”
On Saturday, the track opened to the public and numerous Bell athletes showed up, including Supercross West Coast 250 Class points leader Aaron Plessinger. And when the evening came, Bell was prepared with a full BBQ and bar, as well as a flat screen TV to enjoy the weekend’s SX race. “It was really cool spending the weekend with a rad group of guys,” Kenny said. “It was nothing but good vibes the whole weekend, and we can’t wait to go back.” And as if a few days of riding in Hollister wasn't enough, the next day, Darryn Durham and Dustin "Wacker" Nowak headed to the Swanpound, home of NorCal local, and Fasthouse friend, Arik Swan. The trio threw some whips, blew up some berms, and had some fun before pinning back to SoCal.
