Glen Helen Press Day | The Shake Down

Press Day is held on the Thursday prior to every Lucas Oil Pro Motocross event, and this week was no different. After months of preparation, Glen Helen opened its doors for a select few competitors to break in the new National layout and shake down their equipment for the weekend. Our own Sean Collier was invited to take part in the day, and he used it as an opportunity to break in his freshly re-built KX500 and feel out his Fasthouse/Thousand Oaks Powersports/FMF/Gasper Racing/C4MX KX450F on the, what is expected to be, brutal GH course. Collier was joined by all the factory riders, including Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey, TwoTwo Motorsports' Chad Reed, RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John's defending Champion Ken Roczen and more. The day was broken up into two sessions, giving all the riders ample time to feel out settings for the weekend and get the lay out of the track dialed in. This weekend, Sean will be competing in both the FMF Two-Stroke Invitational, as well as the main Lucas Oil Pro Motocross motos, making for what will undoubtably be a very long race day for him. In true Fasthouse style, though, Sean and the crew are headed into the weekend looking to have nothing but a good time.
