The 18th annual Red Bull Day In The Dirt is rapidly approaching, and for this week’s Throwback Thursday, we’re taking a look back at one of the best parts of the weekend last year—the party. As you might already know if you’ve attended the epic event, Day In The Dirt is more about having fun, camping with friends and family, and tossing back some cold ones rather than lining up with a serious case of butterflies and hoping to pull the holeshot. Sure, every year offers some of the coolest trophies and best racing conditions, but it’s more of a "MX Woodstock" where winning races takes a backseat to having a good time. While reminiscing over last year’s event, we came across some gems from the Saturday Night Red Bull party. Prior to the party beginning, Roland Sands Designs and Scott Dickson auctioned off a custom Kurt Caselli Foundation motorcycle and a one-of-a-kind painting of Kurt to benefit the Kurt Caselli Foundation, raising over $50,000. If you haven't already signed up for this year's race, head over to www.dayingthedirt.com to pick your classes now.
