To Live and Race in LA, Fasthouse Style
Nothing better than good friends, tasty food, a cold beer, and a bunch of dirt bikes. The Fasthouse crew was totally stoked to be back at LACR for their Grand Opening GP. For a lot of us this was home away from home and we wanted to do it in style, our way.
We were still licking our wounds from a Day in the Dirt when we sent out the call to our crew that we were going to LA County for the Grand Opening. Our Fasthouse go-to guy, Tony, was going to keep us well fed throughout the day, and everyone was invited to stop by for a little chow and a cold one.
The minute we came through the gate we could feel the energy. We got set up, and game on. Some of us raced, and the rest just hung out and did what we do best, shoot the shit. At the end of the day we got to watch a couple of our boys, Sean and Ricky, attack the rough, sandy LA County GP course. Ricky put in a good ride but Sean’s race didn’t start that well. The first lap he ended up on the ground, a pretty hard slap, then a stall in a corner. Not giving up, he went from dead last to finish second. A great recovery, and he did it with his typical Sean Collier style.
LACR is officially back. Good job to the Barbacovi’s and their hard working crew. They provided us with a pretty good sand box to play in. We knew Jack couldn’t stay away, once it get’s in your blood it stays with you forever.
Like we said, nothing better than good friends, tasty food, a cold beer, and a bunch of dirt bikes.
